Overacheiving Students who aspire to attend private school

Is there any opportunities open for public school students who overacheive and exceed expectations but for reasons such as not living near an independant school, they can't attend? Suggestions Please?

Try public school programs that have IB or AP programs. Also, another option is send them to a boarding school if you don't live near a private school.
