Cousteau, The French International School of Vancouver opened its doors in 1997 and became Cousteau, The French International School of Vancouver in 2013, March 13th, by adding to its curriculum an ecological orientation and by setting up a partnership with the Cousteau Foundation and the Aquarium of Vancouver. Cousteau School is the only school in British Columbia that offers an academic curriculum that is approved by both the British Columbia Ministry of Education and the French Ministry of Education. What we propose ? Why we are different ? A bilingual school based on an innovative and ambitious pedagogy of languages. A model school for multicultural education, actively preparing tomorrow?s international citizens. We are a school of academic excellence that integrates the best of both the French and Canadian systems. We offer a personalized, high quality teaching and learning. Students are offered a rigorous an challenging workload that is adapted when needed to assist students to reach their full potential.
