AP Courses
- Lakefield College School offers several first-year university courses through the College Board Advanced Placement Program. These courses offer students the opportunity for enriched study
- and can provide students applying internationally with additional validation of the rigour of their high school program. Students who enroll in an Advanced Placement course do so in conjunction with the corresponding Ontario course. For some courses
- Lakefield also offers a Grade 11 AP Preparatory course so that the necessary content of the AP courses may be covered fully.
- To earn an Advanced Placement credit
- students write an externally evaluated exam in May. The exam is graded out of 5
- and a score of 4 or 5 is generally viewed as equivalent to a university credit. Advanced Placement courses are offered at Lakefield College School in Biology
