About Maingate Islamic Academy
Maingate Academy is an elementary school (JK to Grade 8) registered with the Ontario Ministry of Education that offers unlimited opportunities for the future Muslims of Canada to achieve their true academic and spiritual potential. Students thrive in our high-support environment as they explore their spirituality, individuality and creativity. Maingate Academy offers rigorous academics with Islamic integration throughout all subjects, Islamic studies and Quran, to encourage the emerging talents of all our students. At Maingate Academy, we unite our cultural diversity under the banner of Islam and teach our children to learn, love and ultimately live the beautiful message of Islam which makes our school a more rewarding place in which to learn. The Maingate experience offers a unique educational advantage over the conventional Islamic school environment. We have the smallest student to teacher ratios with average classroom sizes of 10 students. Our specialized French program begins at Junior Kindergarten.
